A leading aerospace manufacturing company is seeking a talented Concession Writer to join their dynamic operations team at their Filton facility. The Concession Writer will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety across manufacturing operations. This position offers a unique blend of technical responsibility and collaborative problem-solving, ideal for someone passionate about aerospace excellence.
Key Responsibilities for the Concession Writer
- Investigate and author clear, accurate technical concessions for manufacturing deviations on aircraft wing structures
- Interface with Design and Quality Engineering teams to ensure timely review and approval of concessions
- Log and track non-conformance data using aerospace quality management systems to maintain complete traceability
- Ensure all work complies strictly with aviation regulatory standards and company quality procedures
- Collaborate with the manufacturing operations team to resolve technical issues and maintain production efficiency
- Participate in quality improvement projects focused on root-cause analysis and defect prevention
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using practical problem-solving methodologies

What's On Offer
- Competitive Pay: £31.82 per hour (Umbrella) or £23.78 per hour (PAYE)
- Work Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 06:30am to 3:45pm (27.5 hours per week)
- Location: 100% onsite at Filton
- Contract Duration: Until 31st March 2026, with probable extension
- Security Clearance: BPSS+ Clearance (arranged by the company)
- Travel: None required
Essential Requirements
Candidates for the Concession Writer role must be eligible to work in the United Kingdom and be prepared to complete BPSS+ security clearance. Please note that ITAR restrictions and IR35 off-payroll working rules apply to this position.
