Are you an experienced Commissioning Test professional looking for your next challenge? This company is seeking a talented Commissioning Test Team Leader to join their dynamic team in Reading. Due to the nature of the project you will be working on you will need to be eligible for SC clearance.
About the Role
As the Commissioning Test Team Leader, you will be responsible for supervising on-site commissioning activities to ensure safe, compliant, and accurate testing is achieved. You will review commissioning documentation and Safe Systems of Work, ensuring they are followed by all involved in the activity.
Key responsibilities of the Commissioning Test Team Leader role include:
- Work to approved commissioning procedures and Safe Systems of Work
- Raise commissioning reservations and seek guidance from the commissioning manager or engineering support
- Ensure the final state of plant configuration is as expected or agreed with the commissioning manager
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for the Commissioning Test Team Leader role will have:
- Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC and SCADA systems
- A good appreciation of control panels, electrical installation, and instrumentation solutions
- Experience in testing and on-site commissioning
- Excellent health and safety awareness, with SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred
- A CSCS card or equivalent
If you have experience in some or all of the following areas, that would be an added advantage:
- Plant Historians
- Network design and configuration
- Cyber Security
- Functional Safety
- Industrial Protocol Knowledge (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, OPC, etc.)
