Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a CNC Turner within the Bush Manufacturing department. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry. This CNC Turner position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role, you will manufacture aircraft bushes to precision limits.
Role Responsibilities:
- Working on two and three axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
- Experience of CNC programming preferable on Fanuc controls.
- To be able to read and understand technical drawings.
- To be able to work with imperial measuring equipment.
- Manufacturing bushes, sleeves, and nuts for Aircraft components e.g.: landing gears, flap and track systems.
- Reworking and overhauling components for the airline industry.
Skills and Experience required:
- Aerospace background not essential but would be preferred.
- Experience in two and three axis CNC lathes with Fanuc controls.
- Experience of CNC programming.
- Educated to at least GCSE level with good written and spoken English skills.

- Double day shift Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday (dependant on business needs).
- One week of early shifts (6am to 2pm) and one week of late shifts (2pm to 10pm) alternating.
- Up to £34,000 plus shift pay.
