A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Technical Support Engineer to join a leading manufacturing environment, supporting production operations and maintaining the smooth running of shopfloor activities.

You will be responsible for addressing technical issues, supporting work order management, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across the production area. This is an ideal role for someone with strong hands-on experience in aviation, manufacturing, or other fast-paced engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day lineside support to resolve technical issues affecting production.
  • Manage missing parts, non-conformities, concessions, DQNs, maintenance requirements, and tooling needs.
  • Support work order management, including rework, out-of-cycle tasks, and prioritisation of serial/rework orders.
  • Identify recurring issues and escalate to specialist support teams.
  • Assist with analysis and improvement of industrial processes and systems.
  • Promote and reinforce EH&S and Quality standards across the shopfloor.
  • Support logistics coordination related to rework and material flow.
  • Contribute to LEAN and continuous improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
  • Extensive manufacturing or production experience.
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a practical, methodical approach.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing operational needs.
  • Experience within aviation or highly regulated engineering environments (desirable).
  • SAP experience beneficial.
