Carbon60 are currently looking for a Commercial Administrator to join a client of ours based in Pensnett, Kingswinford. This position is a 12 month maternity cover position. Out client is a large engineering company with over 170 sites across the UK and Ireland. they specialise in an array of engineering/industrial services ranging from providing engineering components through logistics services to providing electrical and mechanical maintenance to rotating equipment. Working Hours/Shift Pattern : 08:30 – 17:30, 1 hour lunch, 40 hours/week, flexible on start time, can 8am – 9:30am as long as 40 hours completed/week Main duties & responsibilities: Place order requisitions received from other branches Receive order updates from suppliers Advise branches to use different suppliers as required Commercial advice given to branches on purchasing and supply ‘Hand hold’ orders through system Expediting orders with suppliers Admin completed to put supplier info on to system Chase up outstanding orders Act as key point of contact between key suppliers and branches Some imports and general admin paperwork involved Clearing invoices General purchasing admin Odd ad-hoc project-based tasks- special requests Essential skills / experience / qualifications: Essential – can they do the basics of operating a computer in the office?
