As the Industrial Assembly Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your technical expertise and project management skills to drive the research, development, and delivery of cutting-edge technology projects. Your focus will be on enhancing the company's drilling and fastening equipment and processes for their state-of-the-art aircraft wing structures.
Key Responsibilities:- Deploy and support Drilling & Fastening equipment (Semi-Automated and manual)
- Define new equipment and develop innovative drilling and fastening assembly processes
- Project manage and provide technical support for existing machinery
- Implement continuous improvement projects into the wing manufacturing processes
- Interface with internal customers, support functions, and external suppliers
- Strong technical background in shop floor processes, preferably in drilling and/or fastening
- Good understanding of the wing build process
- Proficient in Google office-based applications (Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc.)
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Well-organised, rigorous, and attentive to detail
