A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced or developing Design Quality Engineer to join a leading aerospace organisation on a long-term contract. This role sits within a highly collaborative and transnational engineering quality team, supporting airframe engineering excellence across Europe.
The Role
As a Design Quality Engineer, you will support the assurance of engineering processes, working closely with Business Quality Managers (BQMs) and Process Quality Managers (PQMs). You will help maintain strong quality standards, proactively identify risks, and support continuous improvement across engineering programmes.
You will be involved in:
- Supporting and enhancing engineering quality processes
- Facilitating DFMEA, problem-solving activities, design reviews, and TRL risk reviews
- Managing non-conformance and supporting control plan implementation
- Providing quality insights, data analysis, and integrating lessons learned
- Contributing to Independent Monitoring Activities within the Airframe Centre of Competence
- Representing the team during senior customer meetings when required

- Experience with FMEA, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies
