Carbon60 is working with a well-renowned worldwide MRO company to find a Check Management Support Engineer in Manchester. In the role of Check Management Support Engineer, you will be working alongside the Check Manager, Commercial, and Materials Co-Ordinator to oversee effective project delivery of aircraft back to the customer within the agreed timescale.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the customer to ensure all over and above tasks are signed off onsite by a representative before work commences and before any potential over-runs.
- Create and maintain task card over-runs for commercial and base management review.
- Advise on non-productive bookings.
- Monitor budget on task card.
- Produce daily customer status reports keeping to schedule.
- Daily progress meeting with Check Manager and customer.
Skills:
- Apprenticeship or equivalent in aviation or similar mechanical engineering field.
- Ability to work in an ever-changing environment and adaptability to meet changing needs.
- Strong organisational and people skills.
- Awareness of commercial needs.
- Must have a full UK Driving Licence.
- Proficient in using MS Office, in particular, Excel.
