Carbon60 is working with a well-renowned worldwide MRO company to find a Check Management Support Engineer in Manchester. In the role of Check Management Support Engineer, you will be working alongside the Check Manager, Commercial, and Materials Co-Ordinator to oversee effective project delivery of aircraft back to the customer within the agreed timescale.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work alongside the customer to ensure all over and above tasks are signed off onsite by a representative before work commences and before any potential over-runs.
  • Create and maintain task card over-runs for commercial and base management review.
  • Advise on non-productive bookings.
  • Monitor budget on task card.
  • Produce daily customer status reports keeping to schedule.
  • Daily progress meeting with Check Manager and customer.

Skills:

  • Apprenticeship or equivalent in aviation or similar mechanical engineering field.
  • Ability to work in an ever-changing environment and adaptability to meet changing needs.
  • Strong organisational and people skills.
  • Awareness of commercial needs.
  • Must have a full UK Driving Licence.
  • Proficient in using MS Office, in particular, Excel.
