Fitter High Voltage Fitters required for Swansea in South Wales and Bristol, close to Bath and Cardiff. This is a long-term contingent (contract) position installing HV (high voltage) equipment such as power transformers, earth switches and disconnectors within new or existing sub stations. Skills and Experience: * Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools. * Strong understanding of Safe Systems of Works and Operational Safety Rules * Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. * Effective communication skills, both verbal and written for collaboration with team members. Qualifications: * City & Guilds 2339-17 or 2304 or equivalent * NVQ Level 3 Power Networks Crafts person Qualification or equivalent The following qualifications would be advantageous but are not essential: Emergency First Aid at Work UKTA Asbestos Awareness SSSTS or equivalent Confined Space qualifications PASMA IPAF This is an excellent opportunity to secure long term contract position paid weekly with one of the UK\’s most established energy company.
