Founded in 2019 Carbon3 are renewable energy, electric vehicle charging and ESG specialists to the new build construction and retrofit sectors. We offer a full concept to delivery service ensuring planning and sustainability targets are achieved.
Our projects consist of large multi plot housing schemes, retrofit commercial, mass retrofit energy efficiency upgrades and full decarbonisation projects. The Carbon3 retrofit ESG offering provides carbon reduction solutions with the additional benefit of sustainable finance solutions to demonstrate tangible ESG results.
The Commercial Manager is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with key clients, supporting the preparation and delivery of monthly sales reports, measuring KPIs, and contributing to the performance tracking of sales activities. The role also involves providing support to the bid and tender teams and liaising with other departments within Carbon3 to ensure smooth project execution and overall performance improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring that their needs are met and addressing any issues or concerns in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to promote retention and growth opportunities.
- Understand clients' business objectives and collaborate with internal teams to ensure that Carbon3 delivers solutions that meet these objectives.
- Conduct regular account reviews with clients to track performance, identify potential improvements, and discuss future needs.
- Monitor and manage contract renewals, upselling, and cross-selling opportunities.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly sales packs, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of sales performance metrics.
Performance Monitoring
- Measure and track KPIs related to sales and project performance.
- Provide regular updates to management on performance metrics and suggest actions for improvement.
Bid and Tender Support
Provide administrative and coordination support to the bid and tender teams.
Assist in compiling and submitting documentation for bids and tenders, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
Liaise with other departments to coordinate efforts and improve overall company performance.
Ensure alignment between client objectives, sales goals, and operational activities.
Departmental Support
Provide occasional support to other departments, as required, to meet company needs and priorities.
Skills and Experience Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in account management, sales support, or a related role.
- Proven ability to manage client relationships, with a strong focus on customer service and satisfaction.
- Experience in measuring and reporting on KPIs, with the ability to interpret data and provide insights for improvement.
- Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel for data tracking and reporting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
