About the role
Demeter Bio is hiring a Materials Science Intern to support the development of PFAS-free coatings, including its Fibrepel product. This is a hands-on, lab-based role at the company’s London lab.
You will work across the coatings development process:
- Formulating PFAS-free coatings
- Coating textile and packaging substrates
- Performance testing, including contact angle, spray rating and wash durability
- Surface characterisation
Who we’re looking for
- A recent BSc or MSc graduate, or a final-year PhD student
- A background in materials science, polymer science, chemistry, chemical engineering, textile science or a related field
Requirements
- The right to work in the UK. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
- Ability to work on-site at the London lab.
