Location: Highbridge, Somerset

We are looking for an experienced engineer to take ownership of a customer site, supporting an all-electric fleet of materials handling equipment. This is a hands-on role where you will work independently, build strong customer relationships, and keep the site running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

  • Carry out routine servicing, repairs and preventative maintenance
  • Handle all on-site paperwork, reporting and parts control
  • Be the customer’s main technical contact
  • Communicate updates and repair times to the support team
  • Ensure all safety procedures are followed on-site

About You

  • Strong electrical skills and experience with MHE, automotive, HGV, plant or military vehicles
  • Confident working solo and dealing directly with customers
  • Comfortable managing admin, documentation and daily priorities
  • Experienced rather than newly qualified

The Equipment

You will look after a mixed fleet including reach trucks, powered pallet trucks and a small number of automated under-pallet carriers.
