The Role
- Validating loss ratios on new and renewal accounts (line of business specific and multi-line)
- Ensure accuracy of data within our pricing platform
- Validate and support underwriting actions to improve the profitability of accounts
- Attending Broker/Coverholder meetings for any Actuarial input required
- Supporting the Graphene team with actuarial methodology to enable the development of account monitoring and analysis
- Project work to enhance our pricing process
- Support Lloyd’s reporting requirements
- Mentoring of junior staff members (subject to experience)
Essential Required Experience
- FIA Qualified or equivalent
- 5+ years London Market pricing experience
- Delegated Authority pricing experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft suite
- Enthusiastic, entrepreneurial mindset is crucial
- Proven track record of applying problem solving abilities to real world problems
- Highly organised, with the ability to work to deadlines and effectively prioritise
- Ability to work independently using their own initiative and also well as part of a team
Desirable
- US Delegated Authority pricing experience
- Prior management experience (people or processes)
