Our client is a Health & Safety consultancy providing practical, no-nonsense support to clients across the UK.
The business works across construction, food and drink, manufacturing and other regulated environments, helping organisations stay compliant, manage risk and protect their people.
With experience delivering CDM advisory services, Principal Designer and Principal Contractor support, risk assessments, construction phase plans, site inspections and audits, the company takes a sensible and realistic approach to health and safety management.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Site Manager to join the projects team, supporting a pipework and equipment installation project in Milton Keynes.
Duties
- Managing the day to day site activities of a process pipework and plant installation project valued at approximately £8m.
- Managing in house and subcontract resources allocated to the project.
- Compiling risk assessments and method statements for site installations.
- Carrying out site inductions.
- Managing and issuing work permits.
- Completing daily reports and ensuring all works are completed in line with the companies Health and Safety procedures.
- Dealing with contractor queries and H&S aspects along with co ordinating the CDM scope of works.
About You
Based ideally in Buckinghamshire you will need to live within a commutable distance of MK10 0AB.
Demonstrable site management experience, preferably within the food industry, with strong knowledge of health and safety standards and Construction Design and Management requirements.
