As a Data Operations Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth, accurate, and timely flow of delegated authority data into Carbon’s ecosystem. Working closely with the Data Operations Team Lead, you’ll help maintain exceptional service standards, drive data quality, and support key stakeholders across the business. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a detail‑oriented environment, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to contribute to a modern, data-driven underwriting platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, validate, and process incoming bordereaux to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with agreed service levels.
- Oversee the end-to-end bordereaux collection process, proactively identifying delays or risks and driving timely resolutions.
- Liaise directly with brokers, coverholders, and third-party administrators (TPAs) to resolve data issues and ensure smooth data submissions.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams including Underwriting, Claims, and Finance to escalate issues, provide updates, and support decision-making.
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, performing reconciliations to ensure confidence in downstream reporting and analytics.
- Identify patterns or recurring issues and collaborate with the team to implement lasting process improvements.
- Contribute to the evolution of Carbon’s delegated data processes, tools, and controls.
- Support initiatives that enhance automation, governance, and the overall quality of operational data.
Preferred Level Of Experience
- Proven experience managing and processing bordereaux within a delegated authority environment.
- Familiarity with Lloyd’s underwriting and delegated authority platforms, such as Tide and VIPR.
- Advantageous experience supporting or working across multiline classes of business.
- Strong track record of effective stakeholder management across internal and external partners.
- Demonstrated analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy, data quality, and data integrity.
