We are a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food processing industry.

Location: Lifton, Devon PL16 0AA.

Working hours: Monday‑Friday 7:30 am – 5:30 pm.

Contract Position: Minimum 4 months leading to further work.

Duties:

  • Safely unload and distribute newly delivered process equipment and pipe spools, including high‑value pumps, motors, valve sets and specialist equipment.
  • Assist fitters with basic installation work such as tightening bolts, painting pipework, and installing pipework. Training will be provided for this aspect of the job.

About You:

  • Ideally based within commuting distance of Lifton, Devon (PL16 0AA).
  • Experience operating a rough‑terrain telescopic forklift with 9 m boom; the machine will most likely be a 9.55 m Merlo P72.10 Telehandler 7200 kg.
  • Current in‑date CPCS Telehandler with boom licence.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly rate between £18.00 PAYE and £24.00 CIS, plus a range of benefits.
