About The Opportunity
We are offering an exciting Graduate Production Engineer Apprenticeship, designed to provide structured development, real responsibility and hands-on exposure across the full manufacturing process. From raw material preparation through the complete process you will build strong foundations in production engineering, quality, and continuous improvement. This is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start your engineering career in a dynamic manufacturing environment while working towards a recognised Level 4 Improvement Practitioner qualification.
The Role
As a Graduate Production Engineer Apprentice, you will work closely with production, engineering and maintenance teams to support safe, efficient and high-quality manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supporting day-to-day manufacturing activities and analysing production performance
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, throughput and reliability
- Assisting with trials, process improvements, and new product introductions
- Supporting the development and maintenance of standard operating procedures
- Participating in quality checks and investigations into non-conformance's
- Contributing to continuous improvement projects using manufacturing principles
- Collecting, reporting and analysing performance data
- Promoting a strong safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with HSE standards
Training & Development
You will complete a Level 4 Improvement Practitioner Apprenticeship equivalent to a Higher National Certificate (HNC). At least 20% of your working time will be dedicated to training and development. You’ll gain skills in project management, lean tools, data analysis, root cause analysis and change management.
