Key Responsibilities
- Manage the procurement of materials, equipment and services required for a major aviation technology programme.
- Work closely with engineering, project, operational and supplier teams to ensure timely delivery of critical components.
- Raise and manage purchase orders in line with procurement policies and procedures.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times and delivery schedules.
- Support supplier negotiations to achieve best value, quality and service levels.
- Identify and mitigate supply chain risks that may impact programme milestones.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and reporting.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to forecast demand and support planning activities.
- Ensure compliance with aviation, quality and regulatory requirements.
About You
- Previous experience in a Buyer, Procurement, Supply Chain or Purchasing role.
- Strong supplier management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience managing purchase orders, sourcing activities and supply chain operations.
- Excellent analytical, organisational and problem‑solving capabilities.
- Ability to work within a fast‑paced, project‑focused environment.
- Experience within aviation, engineering, manufacturing or technology sectors highly desirable.
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Must have the existing right to work in the UK – sponsorship is not available for this position.
