Carbon Zero Group is one of Wales's Fastest Growing Companies. We have a number of brands under our umbrella including the long-standing solar company "Carbon Zero Renewables". The Group is multi-award winning and we are looking for time-served Electricians to assist across the group, mainly on the solar aspect of the business.
We are looking for someone with solar PV qualifications and experience in this field, with at least 3 years experience but ideally 5-10 years. Please ensure your CV shows any Solar experience you may have and is up to date.
Job Role:- Installation of Solar PV systems both domestic and commercial
- Installation of Battery Storage Systems both domestic and commercial
- Repairs of solar systems including inverter replacement and new meters
- Electrics for hot tub installations
- Fitting of Infrared heating panels (training given)
- General Electrical Works
- The Candidate would be our QS for Napit.
- Installing electrical installations in accordance with the IEE 18th Edition wiring regulations
- Following project specific drawings and specifications provided by your supervisor
- Carrying out fixed wiring testing and certification of electrical installations in accordance with IEE Guidance note 3
- Installing Containment, Cable Basket, Trunking, Conduit, Lighting and Power etc.
- Installing Machinery and control systems
- Working hours 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday (40 Hours per week) overtime opportunities available
- Working away as necessary (extra pay and benefits)
- Experience of Commercial Electrics
- At least 3 Years experience but ideally 5-10 years of Solar PV Installations
- Driving License
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
- City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Inspection and Testing
- 18th Edition BS7671 Wiring Regulations
- 3 Phase Qualified
- AM2
- BPEC solar and battery
- IPAF 3a 3b (ideally)
- PASMA (ideally)
- Experience in working as part of a team
- Able to work at heights
- Able to work independently and use initiative
- Excellent communication skills (verbal/written)
- Problem solver
The successful candidate will have their own van and will attend jobs usually on their own but we will offer support on larger jobs.
PAY WILL DEPEND ON EXPERIENCE
Job Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: £18.00-£25.00 per hour
