As the Industrial Assembly Engineer, you will be responsible for applying your technical expertise and project management skills to drive the research, development, and delivery of cutting‑edge technology projects. Your focus will be on enhancing the company's drilling and fastening equipment and processes for their state‑of‑the‑art aircraft wing structures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and support drilling & fastening equipment (semi‑automated and manual)
  • Define new equipment and develop innovative drilling and fastening assembly processes
  • Project manage and provide technical support for existing machinery
  • Implement continuous improvement projects into the wing manufacturing processes
  • Interface with internal customers, support functions, and external suppliers

Qualifications And Skills

  • Strong technical background in shop floor processes, preferably in drilling and/or fastening
  • Good understanding of the wing build process
  • Proficient in Google office‑based applications (Sheets, Slides, Gmail, etc.)
  • Analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Well‑organised, rigorous, and attentive to detail

This Position Offers An Hourly Rate Of

  • Up to £27.68 per hour PAYE + 30% uplift
  • Up to £37.02 per hour Umbrella + 30% uplift
