Location: Poynton, Cheshire

Hours of work: 37 hours flexitime across 4.5 days per week.

Wiring Production Technician Responsibilities:

  • Reworking and repairing of PCBs
  • Integrating LRUs and sub systems
  • Assembling cable assemblies and terminating military-grade connectors
  • Terminating cable assemblies into various racks
  • Working with various cable types such as RF, data and power
  • Carrying out heavy builds for larger mechanical assemblies
  • Using inspection and measuring equipment
  • Assembling moving components
  • Carrying out mechanical rack assembly
  • Identifying potential improvements to manufacturing methods

The successful candidate:

  • Time served experience in a Wiring Production Technician role.
  • IPC 610/620 qualification desirable but not essential
  • J-Std qualification desirable but not essential
  • Ability to understand and interpret complex schematics and engineering drawings, wiring schedules, wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams and bespoke customer supplied assembly information.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
