Salary: 30k - 37k DOE plus excellent benefits
Location: Poynton, Cheshire
Hours of work: 37 hours flexitime across 4.5 days per week.
Wiring Production Technician Responsibilities:
- Reworking and repairing of PCBs
- Integrating LRUs and sub systems
- Assembling cable assemblies and terminating military-grade connectors
- Terminating cable assemblies into various racks
- Working with various cable types such as RF, data and power
- Carrying out heavy builds for larger mechanical assemblies
- Using inspection and measuring equipment
- Assembling moving components
- Carrying out mechanical rack assembly
- Identifying potential improvements to manufacturing methods
The successful candidate:
- Time served experience in a Wiring Production Technician role.
- IPC 610/620 qualification desirable but not essential
- J-Std qualification desirable but not essential
- Ability to understand and interpret complex schematics and engineering drawings, wiring schedules, wiring diagrams, circuit diagrams and bespoke customer supplied assembly information.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
