Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Handyman to work for a leading Facilities Management company based in North Kensington.
LOCATION: North Kensington, W11
CONTRACT: 3 months (7th April 2026 - 6th July 2026)
HOURS: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
PAY RATE: £18.30 PAYE / £23 Umbrella
About the Job
This role is for a handyman working in empty properties (voids). When tenants move out, the property needs to be repaired and refreshed before new tenants move in. You'll be helping to fix, clean up, and get homes ready quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fixing basic things like doors, locks, handles, cupboards
- Doing small carpentry work (repairs, adjustments, fittings)
- Filling, sanding, and painting walls
- Basic plumbing (changing taps, toilet seats, resealing)
- Basic electrical work (changing light fittings, sockets - only simple tasks)
- Helping with kitchen and bathroom touch-ups
- Making sure the property is clean, safe, and ready to use
- Completing small final checks (snagging)
- Driving between properties and carrying tools/materials
Requirements:
- Experience as a handyman or in maintenance work
- Basic skills in carpentry, plumbing, and painting
- Someone who can work on their own and get jobs done on time
- Full UK driving licence (important)
