This Tooling and Equipment Controller position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role, you will manage and maintain oversight of all calibrated tools and equipment within the 145 environments. The successful candidate will ensure proper control, accountability, and compliance with aviation regulations while coordinating calibration, maintenance, and auditing processes.
Role Responsibilities will include:
Maintain oversight of all calibrated tools and equipment within the 145 environment, ensuring proper control and accountability.
Monitor and coordinate the timely maintenance and calibration of tooling and equipment as per the relevant schedules and regulations.
Liaise with external calibration providers to resolve any issues related to calibration, discrepancies, or delays.
Receive and inspect tools and equipment upon return from external calibration, performing visual checks for damage or inconsistencies before reintroducing them into service.
Maintain accurate records of all tooling and equipment calibration activities to ensure full traceability and compliance with aviation regulations.
Support internal audits by providing documentation and records related to tooling and equipment control.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure all necessary tools are available and in serviceable condition.Skills and Experience required:
Ideally have an aviation background within an EASA Part 145 environment.
Previous experience of handling calibrated tooling in a highly regulated environment would be preferable.
Good computer skills, ideally having previous experience with MRP systems (SAP) and competent with
