What you'll be doing:
- Leading inspection activities across goods-in, in-process, and final product release
- Carrying out functional and pressure testing on inflatable safety equipment
- Ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, SOPs, and quality standards
- Managing non-conformances, including root cause support and corrective actions
- Raising and closing supplier RMAs and liaising with suppliers on quality issues
- Maintaining accurate inspection records, reports, and traceability documentation
Leadership responsibilities:
- Supervising and supporting a team of Quality Inspectors
- Allocating workload and setting priorities
- Providing training, coaching, and performance oversight
- Acting as a first point of escalation for quality issues
What we're looking for:
- Experience working within an ISO 9001 Quality Management System
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Hands-on experience with measurement tools (Verniers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Knowledge of root cause analysis and continuous improvement
- Experience inspecting components against POs and specifications
- Ideally, exposure to pressure or flow testing systems
