We're looking for an experienced Temporary Works Engineer to join our client's team in South West England on a full-time, permanent basis. What You'll Do
- Own Temporary Works Coordination - Supervise and manage all temporary works on site, ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards.
- Design & Innovate - Create safe, compliant, and cost-effective solutions to support installation activities.
- Collaborate Across Teams - Work closely with site engineering, installation teams, and multi-national stakeholders.
- Drive Compliance & Safety - Maintain the Temporary Works Register, contribute to risk assessments, and uphold UK HSEQ policies.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in temporary works design and coordination on major construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of UK construction codes, CDM regulations, and HSEQ standards.
- Professional certifications (Temporary Works Coordinator/Designer, CSCS, SMSTS).
- Technical skills in structural design principles, AutoCAD/Tekla, and BIM tools.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
The Details
- Location: SW England (site-based)
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 38 hours/week
- Clearance: Full UK working rights, SC clearance (or ability to obtain)
