An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Occupational Hygiene Technician to join a major industrial construction project. Working as part of the Health, Safety and Environment team, you will play a key role in promoting occupational health standards, improving workplace wellbeing, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and best practices. You will provide specialist occupational hygiene support across site operations, helping to identify, assess and control workplace health hazards while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor developments in occupational hygiene legislation, industry standards and best practice to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Provide guidance on personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protective equipment (RPE), safe systems of work and ergonomic considerations.
- Support workforce awareness through participation in safety meetings, toolbox talks and occupational health training activities.
- Assist in the delivery of the site’s occupational hygiene strategy and objectives.
- Participate in occupational hygiene investigations, studies and workplace assessments.
