This role is based near Euston Station and offers a hybrid working arrangement. Essential Responsibilities: Ensure accurate and timely salary payments for employees and workers. Provide guidance on complex pay and reward-related benefits, policies, and legislation. Maintain and update pay records, ensuring compliance with procedures and service standards. Train Payroll Analysts and ensure continuous improvement in payroll processes. Liaise with the Quality Assurance team to ensure adherence to payroll debt management policy. Produce and maintain detailed process documents for all payroll processes.Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Payroll practitioner using multiple HR/Payroll integrated computer systems, including Oracle EBS. Comprehensive knowledge of PAYE and payroll procedures, including statutory payments, over/underpayment and manual calculations. Experience with internal or external audits. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. High level of numeracy skills and ability to undertake complex calculations. Commitment to maintaining up-to-date knowledge of legislation and procedures related to the role.
