Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for an exciting new challenge? This company, which manufactures precision machined components, is seeking a talented Quality Control Technician to join their dynamic team.

As the Quality Control Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the company's products meet the highest quality standards. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting dimensional inspections of both subcontracted and in-house manufactured parts in the machine shop, utilizing engineering drawings and various hand measuring equipment.
  • Collaborating with the team to resolve issues and relay findings to the appropriate parties.
  • Developing and implementing quality standards, control systems, and performance monitoring processes.
  • Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues, and recommending corrective actions and improvements.
  • Liaising with customers and suppliers to address and resolve any concerns.

To excel in this Quality Control Technician role, you will need:

  • Experience inspecting CNC machined parts or a strong background as an Inspector.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with quality control techniques, such as Six Sigma and Statistical Process Control (SPC).
  • Hands-on experience with coordinate measuring machines (CMMs) and related software (MITUTOYO mcosmos Basic programming) is preferred.
  • A collaborative, team-oriented approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.

This company offers a competitive salary, 5 weeks of annual leave, and a contributory pension scheme. The working hours are 36 per week, Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 4:00 pm.
