About the RoleAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Engineer to join a leading supply chain operations organisation in Belfast. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring product quality and safety, supporting non-conformity reduction, and driving quality initiatives across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Guide and delegate tasks to Product Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineering personnel
Develop and maintain quality documentation and procedures
Analyse data on non-conforming products and support corrective actions
Prepare and maintain First Article Inspection Reports and Inspection plans
Liaise with internal and external customers regarding quality assurance requirements
Arrange and conduct internal and external auditsSupport training on quality requirements for both internal and external stakeholders
Drive quality initiatives and support APQP activities (e.g., 8D problem solving, PFMEA, Control Plan development)
Essential Skills & Experience
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to challenge constructively
Data analysis skills (interpret data sets, graphical data, and draw conclusions)
Team player, able to work cross-functionally
Quality or engineering background within a major manufacturing industry
Automotive, manufacturing, or production experience with large companies considered
