Commercial / Project Control Lead Engineer – NW England – contract Role: Commercial / Project Control Lead Engineer Start Date: January 2025 Duration: 12 – 18 months possible extension Rates: Competitive via CIS (all in rate) Requirements: 2 References required at interview, up to date relevant certs This is a major role on a significant EfW Project that will prevent 600,000 tonnes of waste from potentially going to landfill. Are you the right person to lead on this £400m+ project? Day to Day Duties Responsible for the development of the overall project controls infrastructure to include Work Breakdown Structure, Overall Project Plan, Code of Accounts, Project Estimate, Budgets, Project Schedule and resource requirements to execute the project. Directs performance measurement activities on all facets of the project. Performs schedule optimisation, studies and cost-benefit analyses. Provides planning support to the project team for all project planning related aspects of the project. Analyse updated plans and highlight any areas of risk or schedule conflict to the project manager. Develops, interprets, and executes policy, objectives, and standards applicable to cost and schedule control and analysis activities.Requirements Engineering Degree Preferred E&I contracting and planning experience is essential Proficient in using project planning software Primavera P3 & P6.
