Requirements
- Strong PMO background gained within complex programmes or portfolios.
- Current SC Clearance.
- Proven experience establishing and maintaining PMO governance frameworks.
- Demonstrable experience managing programme deliverables within highly regulated or structured environments.
- Strong knowledge of document management, configuration control, and reporting processes.
- Advanced skills in data management, reporting, and dashboard creation.
- Excellent organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Experience managing competing priorities across multiple teams and workstreams.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and challenge at senior levels.
- Experience working within programmes requiring governance, compliance, or contractual oversight.
- Experience within defence, government, technology, aerospace, engineering, infrastructure, or other highly regulated sectors.
- Knowledge of programme delivery methodologies and portfolio governance frameworks.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain robust document management, repository structures, and configuration control processes.
- Drive PMO best practice across the programme through leadership, expertise, and governance oversight.
- Own and manage the end-to-end deliverables lifecycle, ensuring milestones are achieved on time and to the required quality standards.
- Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, ensuring programme alignment and effective stakeholder communication.
- Ensure deliverables are reviewed, approved, and controlled in accordance with governance requirements.
- Manage programme documentation, actions, decisions, risks, and deliverables throughout the programme lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain programme reporting, dashboards, and management information packs.
- Monitor progress against programme objectives and proactively identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across PMO processes and governance frameworks.
- Engage confidently with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership teams, to drive accountability and successful outcomes.
