We are seeking a Mobile Multiskilled Engineer to join our team, providing high-quality mechanical and electrical maintenance across multiple sites. This position is essential in ensuring safe, efficient and compliant building operations, and would suit someone who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and taking pride in delivering excellent service.
About the Role
As a Mobile Multiskilled Engineer, you will carry out a mix of planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks across a wide range of building services equipment. Your work will help maintain operational continuity for our clients, ensuring systems remain safe, functional and compliant.
Responsibilities
- Completing PPM tasks in line with site schedules and CAFM requirements
- Responding quickly and effectively to reactive maintenance requests
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults across mechanical and electrical systems
- Ensuring all documentation, reports and compliance records are completed accurately
- Working safely and following all Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Maintaining plant rooms to a high standard
- Supporting subcontractors while on site
- Participating in an out-of-hours call-out rota
- Upholding the professional image of the business at all times
What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a reliable, competent engineer who can work independently, within a team, or oversee subcontractors when needed. You will be someone who communicates well with clients, produces clear and high-quality reports, and confidently represents the business.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
- Electrical
- C&G Part A and B, C&G 236 (Pt 1 & 2), C&G 2330 (Level 2 & 3), AM1 & AM2, or C&G 236018th Edition
- C&G 2391 or 2394/2395
- Experience in periodic inspection, testing and certification (NICEIC competency)
- BTEC Level 3 Mechanical Engineering / HVAC
- C&G 6188 (Level 2) or C&G 7188 (Level 3)
- Competent Person (Mechanical/Pressure Systems)
- Plumbing maintenance and fault-finding experience
- EUSR National Water Hygiene Card
