Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to work for a leading Facilities Management company based in Merseyside.
Role: Mobile Maintenance Electrician
Pay rate: £18 p/h PAYE
Job type: 4 weeks Temporary
Location: Merseyside, L30
Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM
Job Overview: This role is for a proven LV Authorised, 18th Edition qualified Electrical Technician. Supported by a strong operational team, the role focuses on developing, maintaining, and improving the electrical systems across the Merseyside estate.
The Role:
- Maintain plant and equipment to agreed specifications and operational requirements
- Develop an in-depth knowledge of the relevant individual contracts
- Ensure all paperwork is up to date and correctly completed
- Ensure all jobs are closed down promptly
- Carry out the defined planned maintenance regime for all contractual obligations
- Ensure Safe Systems of Work (SSoW) are in place
- Issue relevant working permits
- Carry out repairs, reactive maintenance, and minor installation works on plant
- Attend, diagnose, and repair faults with due regard to customer care
- Carry out proactive plant monitoring activities
- Interrogate operational information systems to support daily operations and fault diagnosis
- Complete relevant paperwork and reports diligently
- Undertake any other relevant duties as required, including duties outside normal working hours
- Undertake any training necessary to ensure duties can be carried out effectively
The Successful Candidate:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 Technical Certificate with NET AM2 certificate
- Prior experience supervising a team
- Comfortable working to tight deadlines and proactively managing workload
- IT literate, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to think clearly in extreme circumstances
- Experience using a CAFM system
- Experience and track record working in Facilities Management
- Good knowledge of building services and legislation
- Able to maintain documentation and records to a high standard
- Operate in accordance with Client policies, procedures, and Health & Safety requirements
- Always represent Client in a professional manner
