About the Role As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for producing P&IDs, layouts, and general arrangement drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will also contribute to the development of a 3D library for standard plant items. Your key responsibilities will include: Producing drawings in a timely manner with attention to detail on behalf of the project team Developing a 3D library for standard plant items Liaising with clients on design details, ensuring quality control and validation of manufactured designs Creating detailed manufacturing drawings to assist fabrication, including general arrangements, part drawings, developments, and templates Reviewing and checking detailed design drawings of piping systems, supports, and steel framework in accordance with industry standards, codes, and client specifications What We\’re Looking For The ideal candidate for this Mechanical Design Engineer role will have: Excellent working knowledge of SolidWorks, with accreditation in CSWP/CSWE being beneficial Good understanding of 2D CAD packages, such as AutoCAD Ideally, experience in the areas of piping, engineering, water treatment, filtration, and tanks and vessels Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a team environment Why Join This Company?
