The company is seeking a talented Manufacturing Controller to join their dynamic team.
About the Role
As the Manufacturing Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the company's stores and inventory. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing stock control and storekeeping, including shelf life management
- Loading manufacturing cells with the necessary work packages to meet production schedules and delivery deadlines
- Packing and using hand tools as required
- Receiving and issuing tooling
- Updating computer records and kitting activities
- Loading and unloading lorries
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for this Manufacturing Controller role will have:
- Experience in a stores or manufacturing control environment
- The ability to follow instructions and work with minimal supervision
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, flexible approach
- Manual handling, lifting, and slinging training, as well as ESD training
- Desirable skills include PC proficiency, forklift truck licence, and knowledge of Kanban and two-bin systems
