This Manual Turner position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. The right candidate will have experience working to fine tolerances using manual lathes and will play a critical role in supporting the precision machining requirements of aircraft components.
Role Responsibilities will include:
To operate all types of lathes to fine limits.
To be able to work unsupervised/ minimal supervision.
To be able to read and understand technical drawings.
To take responsibility of work and others.
To observe and comply with company standards of conduct.
To be able to work on manual lathes working to fine tolerances.
An awareness and understanding of responsibilities outlined in the Company\’s environmental procedures.
You will be required to maintain Practical Experience Record (PER) book.
You may be required to train personnel with a specified area subject to your qualifications and experience.
All duties shall be undertaken in compliance with Safety and Environmental Regulations and Company Procedures.
Skills and Experience required:
Trained in machine shop technology and working practices.
Have a minimum of 5 years of experience on manual lathes.
