Telehandler Driver - CPCS
Lifton, Devon, PL16 0AA
Monday - Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm
Contract Position: Minimum 4 months leading to further work
The company is a UK leading organisation specialising in major mechanical and electrical installations within the food process industry. The huge range of work carried out by the company includes process pipework and plant installation along with planned and preventive maintenance. This is a fantastic opportunity for Telehandler Driver CPCS to join the company supporting a major project in Lifton, Devon.
Duties
- As an experienced and suitably qualified Telehandler Driver CPCS you will be working within a Food production facility in Lifton, Devon on a project to remove and re-install process pipework and equipment.
- The primary duties will be to safely unload and distribute as necessary; all new process equipment and pipe spools delivered to site. Specific items will include high value pumps, motors, valve sets and one-off pieces of specialist equipment.
- Other duties will include assisting fitters with basic installation works, typically tightening bolts, painting pipework and installing pipework. Full training will be given for this aspect of the job.
About You
- Based ideally in Lifton, Devon you will need to live within a commutable distance of PL16 0AA.
- Demonstrable experience of operating a rough terrain telescopic forklift with 9m boom. The machine you'll be driving will most likely be a 9.55m Merlo P72.10 Telehandler 7200kg.
- Current in date CPCS Telehandler with boom licence is required for this role.
