We are seeking a Process Manufacturing / Warehousing Operator to support daily manufacturing, warehouse, and processing operations across multiple production facilities. The role is primarily focused on industrial powder packing and repacking while ensuring compliance with quality, food safety, and Health & Safety standards.

The successful candidate will assist with production activities, stock management, goods dispatch, warehouse operations, and continuous improvement while maintaining high standards of GMP, hygiene, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production & Processing (60%)
    • Carry out production, packing, and repacking activities for industrial powders, food products, and chemicals.
    • Support manufacturing operations across multiple production sites.
    • Assist with food production and warehouse processing activities.
    • Maintain stock levels in collaboration with the Process Lead.
    • Perform cleaning activities to maintain hygiene and regulatory standards.
    • Support laboratory formulation and other processing activities as required.
    • Review production documentation to ensure right-first-time compliance.
    • Assist in preparing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
  • Warehouse & Inventory Management (10%)
    • Monitor and manage stock levels.
    • Produce weekly and monthly stock reports.
    • Ensure packaging materials and consumables are available.
    • Conduct stock audits and inventory checks.
    • Scan documents, take photographs, and maintain accurate electronic records.
    • Maintain work instructions in line with BRC, FSSC, and ISO standards.
    • Liaise with Quality Control and Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance.
  • Goods Dispatch & Logistics (10%)
    • Arrange transport for finished goods, including deliveries and collections.
    • Coordinate with customers and transport providers regarding shipments.
    • Maintain accurate dispatch and collection records.
    • Support goods-in and goods-out activities.
  • Health, Safety & Compliance (10%)
    • Handle materials safely in accordance with SDS and COSHH requirements.
    • Maintain high food safety and hygiene standards.
    • Safely load and unload raw materials and finished products.
    • Report hazards, near misses, and incidents.
    • Verify deliveries against purchase orders.
    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment.
  • General Warehouse Support (5%)
    • Provide support to other warehouse and production team members as required.
    • Assist with additional operational tasks to meet business needs.
  • Training & Continuous Improvement (5%)
    • Complete all mandatory training requirements.
    • Maintain training records through BreatheHR.
    • Identify personal training needs and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Experience working to BRC, FSSC, GMP, or similar quality standards.
  • Warehouse or stock management experience.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly regarding weights and measurements.
  • Ability to follow standard operating procedures and work instructions.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Understanding of SDS, COSHH, and Risk Assessments.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Physically capable of manual handling and warehouse duties.
  • Flexible to work shifts when required.
Desirable Skills
  • Valid Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
  • Experience handling chemicals within a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of ADR and IATA regulations for labelling and packing.
  • Previous warehouse operations experience.
  • Customer service experience.
