About the Opportunity
We are working with a well-established engineering and compliance specialist that is looking to expand its field-based team with the addition of an experienced Electrical Compliance Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied workload, autonomy in their day-to-day activities, and the chance to work across a diverse range of commercial and industrial environments. You will be responsible for delivering electrical compliance services, technical inspections, and detailed reporting while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. Unlike many service roles, most assignments are completed at a single site each day, allowing you to focus on delivering quality work rather than spending your time travelling between multiple locations.
The Role
- Conduct electrical compliance inspections and condition assessments across commercial and industrial facilities
- Produce detailed technical reports and supporting documentation
- Carry out associated surveying and fault-identification activities where required
- Ensure all job records, reports, and paperwork are completed accurately and submitted within agreed timescales
- Build and maintain strong relationships with site contacts and key stakeholders
- Support the development of junior engineers through coaching and mentoring
