Senior Site Manager ROLE: Senior Site Manager PAY RATE: £375 Per Day CIS CONTRACT TYPE: 5 Months Contract Until Christmas LOCATION: Faringdon , SN7 About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a school construction/refurbishment project in Faringdon. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive and organised Site Manager with a proven background in managing construction projects safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring work is completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day site activities from start to completion. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel. Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards. Carry out site inspections and maintain high health & safety standards. Deliver daily briefings and toolbox talks. Monitor project progress and resolve any site issues promptly. Liaise with the Project Manager, client, and other stakeholders. Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation. Ensure compliance with company procedures and statutory regulations. Manage material deliveries and site logistics. Oversee quality control and ensure defects are rectified promptly. Essential Requirements SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) Black CSCS Card (Management Level) Proven experience as a Site Manager on construction projects. Strong understanding of health & safety legislation. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and maintain project programmes.
