Responsibilities
- Preparation: Cleaning, levelling, repairing surfaces, removing old tiles/grout, and applying waterproof membranes.
- Layout & Design: Measuring areas, interpreting drawings, and planning tile layouts for precision and symmetry.
- Cutting & Fitting: Cutting tiles accurately around corners, edges, and fixtures using specialist tools.
- Installation: Applying adhesive and setting tiles with correct alignment and spacing.
- Finishing: Grouting, sealing, and ensuring a clean, high-quality finish.
Requirements
- Minimum Level 2 NVQ or City & Guilds qualification in Wall and Floor Tiling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of health & safety standards on-site.
