Estimator – Facilities Management – Barrow in Furness/North West – Some travel – Up to £60,000 plus car allowance, plus excellent benefits This is a fantastic opportunity to join a National Facilities Management company working on various client contracts based in Barrow in Furness/North West who are experiencing significant growth. An outstanding opportunity to become part of truly first-rate facilities. Salary: Up to £60,000 plus car allowance Flex benefits (discount scheme) 25 days Holiday plus BH Healthcare after qualifying period Company Pension Location: Barrow in Furness/North West – Some travel Hours of work: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Role Responsibilities: To manage the bid and resource co-ordination process involving both direct and indirect staff management. Provide information and prepare and compilation of proposal submissions, solution and option appraisal of new methods of FM Service delivery to identify valid and viable commercial delivery options. Proactive approach to the continuous improvement in communications, management procedures and systems to maximise profitability and improve operational efficiencies. Use of BMF Estimating package / system to verify validity of bids. Obtaining specialist subcontractor costs. Formulate bid based on BDM brief where required. Labour loading of asset information. Attend site visits as required across the UK as part of the bid process. Attend Divisional Bid Meetings. Progressing submitted tenders, Assist in formulation of tender returns.The successful candidate: Educated to HNC/HND Standard (or equivalent). Excellent management experience. Must hold relevant qualification in quantity surveying (degree level preferable) Experience working within a QS capacity Relevant experience of estimating within the FM Industry. Experience of working in an SFG20 environment is desirable. Proficient IT Skills to include, Word, Powerpoint and EXCEL. Ability to obtain SC Clearance.
