Overview
Enablement Support Team Member
Location: Broughton (Onsite)
Pay: £30.88 per hour (Umbrella) / £23.08 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract: 12-month contract (potential for extension)
IR35: Off-payroll working rules apply
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Enablement Support Team Member within the Airbus Single Aisle Flow Line business. Reporting to the Enablement Leader, you will play a key role in supporting production, tooling, and continuous improvement activities across the site.
Key Responsibilities
- Liaise with engineering and design teams to resolve production blockers.
- Control and maintain consumable materials and tooling.
- Interface with Facilities and Services to ensure service level agreements are met.
- Manage the relationship between Tool Control Centre and Operations (Calibration Process).
- Support Capex projects and facility improvements.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities using lean manufacturing principles.
- Support safety compliance and environmental initiatives.
- Conduct financial analysis, control, and reporting.
- Maintain lean manufacturing systems, 5C/housekeeping, and visual management processes.
Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or project management.
- Tooling experience required.
- Practical competence with PC-based packages (essential); SAP experience desirable.
- Knowledge of lean systems and process improvement.
- Adaptable, willing to learn, and strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamworking and communication abilities.
