The role Working from our state-of-the-art facility at Lion Works, Whittlesford (just a short walk from Whittlesford Parkway station, with easy links to Cambridge and London), your day-to-day will include: Helping keep the labs safe, clean, and well-stocked Preparing scientific materials such as buffers, media, and agar plates Tracking lab consumables and managing deliveries Supporting scientific teams with research activities Assisting with lab equipment maintenance, records, and safety protocols Playing a key role in smooth day-to-day lab operations What you'll gain Over the two-year programme you'll develop practical, real-world lab skills including health & safety compliance, sample preparation, use of specialist instruments and equipment, data recording and basic statistical analysis, and use of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) - building a strong foundation for a career in STEM.
