Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a Disassembly Technician in the Teardown department. This Disassembly Technician position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion.

In this role you will be disassembling customer landing gear with no damage to the valuable components.

Role Responsibilities will include:

  • Disassemble customer landing gears I.A.W the manufacturer instructions (CMM).
  • Avoid additional damage and work with team to communicate required improvements to tooling and processes.
  • Work to tight deadlines.
  • Control of personal and company tools.
  • Awareness and understanding of LTLGS computer-based MOE (IQMove).
  • Uphold housekeeping standards.

Skills and Experience required:

  • The job requires the applicant to stand for a prolonged amount of time with a number of breaks throughout the day.
  • The position and process involve lifting heavy aircraft components.
  • The position requires the applicant to disassemble large components requiring good physical strength.
  • Training for use of overhead cranes is provided.

The shift pattern is double days - Monday to Friday one week of early shifts (6am to 2pm) and one week of late shifts (2pm to 10pm), alternating weekly. From £25,627 (+ shift pay).
