Carbon60 is looking to recruit a Customer Operations Supervisor to work for a leading Specialised Industrial Service Provider based in Malton.
ROLE: Customer Operations Supervisor
PAY RATE: between £13.46/hr – £15.38/hr, between £28,000 – £32,000 per annum
JOB TYPE: temp to perm
LOCATION: Malton (YO17)
HOURS: Full time, Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 5pm, 40 hours per week, 30 min break
THE ROLE:
When Customer Operations Manager is off-site, oversee team operation on-site in their absence to ensure consistent service requirements are met for the customer, additional duties will be addressed with the manager during assignment.
Use order book to expedite orders and speak to suppliers on a daily basis to ensure orders are on schedule.
Placing orders within necessary timeframes, ensuring best lead time, price and delivery times.
Assist stores colleagues with booking in goods/deliveries, correctly allocating stock into the storeroom.
Providing excellent customer service and assistance to the engineers on-site who attend the office.
Completing necessary steps to enable any non-stocked parts to be sourced, assessing price, lead time and delivery speed and uploaded to the stock systems.
Ordering stock required from suppliers.
Complete manual handling of stock from deliveries to storeroom including heavier items such as motors, pumps, gas bottles.
THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
Competent in basic IT Skills – monitoring emails, data entry, using the stock ordering systems.
Must be comfortable in a fast-paced and high-pressured environment.
Must have excellent communication skills and comfortable in a customer-facing role.
Experience in storerooms /stores activities desirable but not essential, preferred for familiarity with the working environment.
Be able to meet the physical demands of the manual handling required in the role.
Prior experience in procurement or office environments, more so in an engineering, supply chain, MRO environment highly beneficial.
Supervisory experience is beneficial.
