About the Role
We are looking for a Consents & Environment Manager to join a high-profile infrastructure programme in Scotland. This is a delivery-focused role where you will take ownership of environmental compliance and consents management to keep critical projects on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on consents discharge, environmental licensing, and preparation of contract specifications.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal environmental obligations.
- Manage multiple consultancy contracts for EnvCoW support and post-planning surveys.
- Build strong relationships with external stakeholders, statutory bodies, and contractors.
- Conduct inspections and audits to ensure environmental and planning consent compliance.
- Drive sustainability and regulatory excellence across project teams.
What We Are Looking For
- Proven project management experience in major infrastructure projects.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
- Degree in Environmental discipline (postgraduate preferred) and membership of a relevant professional body desirable.
- Experience in environmental consultancy or consenting for large-scale projects.
