After training, move to double-day shifts with 20% shift upliftOur client, a leading aerospace manufacturer is seeking a Quality Lineside Engineer, helping ensure product, process and service conformity across a highāvolume production environment. You\āll be the goāto quality specialist on the line ā supporting investigations, driving corrective actions, and presenting quality insights to local leadership.
What you\āll do
Provide specialist Quality support on drawings, parts, processes and support services; independently assure that Quality requirements are met.
Conduct surveillance to ensure the Quality Management System is adhered to across the business.
Ensure certification processes are consistently defined and applied.
Lead and coordinate reported quality/technical issues, ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions via multiāfunctional teams and timely feedback to originators.
Perform initial investigations (e.g., Events, QLBs, NCs) to assess probable root cause and trigger corrective/preventive actions ā deally within one shift.
Carry out problemāsolving analyses (e.g., PPS, 5 Whys, Ishikawa) and support nonāconformance reduction.
Compile and present Quality overviews to the area leadership team.
What you\āll need
Strong ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Proven problemāsolving toolkit (PPS, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
Confident data analysis skills-comfortable interpreting datasets/graphs and drawing conclusions.
Excellent interpersonal skills: able to challenge constructively and maintain strong working relationships.
Experience working within major manufacturing environments (aerospace ideal; automotive/production/manufacturing backgrounds also considered).
Quality experience is essential
Work patternStart on a standard day shift (no uplift).
After full training, transition to doubleāday shifts (alternating weeks):
Mornings: 06:00-13:10Afternoons: 13:30-20:40
20% shift uplift applies on the doubleāday pattern.Overtime may be available.
