The Opportunity
We are recruiting for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a large-site maintenance team within a healthcare environment in South East London.
This role will involve carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a busy hospital estate, helping to ensure critical electrical systems remain safe, compliant, and fully operational. This is an excellent opportunity for an electrician looking for a stable, long-term position within an essential services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on electrical systems and equipment.
Respond to reactive maintenance requests and electrical faults.
Diagnose and repair electrical issues efficiently and safely.
Complete minor installation and remedial works where required.
Conduct testing, inspection, and fault-finding activities.
Ensure all work is completed in accordance with current regulations and site procedures.
Accurately complete maintenance documentation and reports.
Work closely with the wider engineering team to maintain a safe and reliable healthcare facility.
Requirements
Essential
Level 3 Electrical Qualification
18th Edition Wiring Regulations
Previous experience carrying out electrical maintenance
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
Good understanding of health and safety procedures
Desirable
AM2 Qualification
Previous experience within a hospital, healthcare, commercial, or critical environment
Knowledge of building services maintenance
