We're currently supporting a major engineering and technology programme within the defence sector and are looking to speak with experienced Embedded Software Engineers to join a highly skilled team working on complex, next-generation systems. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects, developing software for advanced embedded platforms within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment.
The Role
As an Embedded Software Engineer, you'll be involved across the full software development lifecycle, helping to design, develop, integrate and test real-time embedded software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining embedded software in C and C++
- Designing and implementing software for real-time systems
- Working with model-based development tools - IBM Rhapsody
- Collaborating with systems, hardware and integration teams
- Investigating and resolving software defects and technical issues
- Contributing to design reviews and technical discussions
Skills & Experience
The key requirements for this position are strong software development experience in C/C++ and hands-on experience with Rhapsody.
